BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported another 416 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Saturday, bringing the state's total number of confirmed cases to 120,454.
The state DPH also confirmed another 15 deaths among confirmed cases. Since March, there have been 8,907 deaths among confirmed cases, and 209 deaths among probable cases in Massachusetts.
The state's seven-day weighted average rate of positive tests has fallen to 0.8 percent; its lowest rate yet. The three-day average number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals has risen slightly to 323.
According to the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center, the U.S. has surpassed 6.2 million cases, and more than 188,000 Americans have died of COVID-19 so far.
