Mass. Reports Zero New Coronavirus Deaths For First Time Since June 30

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Department of Public Health data reported that there were zero confirmed deaths in the Commonwealth in 24 hours.

Health officials stated on Tuesday the total number of confirmed cases in the state is now 654,108. The total number of confirmed deaths remains at 17,344.

A confirmed 472 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 out of 41,692 tests.

There are an estimated 17,519 active cases in Massachusetts.

On Tuesday, Massachusetts reported a total of 3,005,473 people had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
