EASTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — At the New England for Trump store in Easton, supporters of the former President are reacting to the assassination attempt on his life over the weekend.

WBZ NewsRadio spoke to supporters who were at the store to hear their thoughts on the shooting and the failed effort to keep the event safe.
“It’s just insane, if I was running security detail, every single roof [would have] at least four agents on it,” said one supporter.
Others at the store did not feel as if this event was too shocking but rather expected.
“[I’m] not surprised. I’m surprised it took eight years,” said another supporter.
The shooting also raised many questions about the current political climate.
“Right now, it's not looking good, added another supporter.
According to the store, the now famous picture of Trump raising his right fist in the seconds after the shooting will be turned into merchandise, that is expected to arrive at the store later this week.
