Massachusetts Confirms Another 303 COVID-19 Cases

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has reported another 303 confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the state't total number of confirmed cases to 114,398.

The state DPH also reported 11 additional deaths attributed to the virus, upping the state's confirmed COVID-related death toll to 8,607. An additional 231 deaths have been reported among probable cases of coronavirus.

More than 1.4 million individuals in the state have had molecular COVID-19 tests, and more than 105,000 residents have been tested for coronavirus antibodies.

According to Johns Hopkins University's Coronavirus Resource Center, in about five months the U.S. has confirmed nearly 5.4 million cases of COVID-19. Nearly 170,000 deaths across the nation have been attributed to the virus.
