Massachusetts Coronavirus Cases Rises By More Than 100, Total Now 525

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — State health officials have announced new numbers of coronavirus cases in Massachusetts.

There are now 525 cases of COVID-19 in the state, which is up from 413 cases on Friday.

The announcement that there has been an increase of more than 100 cases in the past 24 hours comes after Gov. Charlie Baker announced testing has been increasing throughout the state, including a new drive-thru testing location in Waltham.

Out of the current COVID-19 cases, 61 patients have been hospitalized, 215 are not hospitalized, and 249 are still under investigation.
