BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts' 911 system was restored Tuesday afternoon after an outage affected the entire state.
The cause of the outage was unclear. The Massachusetts State 911 Department said the cause of the disruption is still under investigation.
Earlier in the afternoon on Tuesday, the public was urged to contact their local police or fire departments if they were having an emergency.
