Massachusetts Forecasted To Be Hit With Another Blizzard Over Weekend

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The National Weather Service has reported another heavy winter storm with blizzard conditions and possible power outages.

Snow is said to arrive Sunday Night around 6 p.m., with the heaviest snow arriving after 10 p.m. and into Monday afternoon. Expected snowfall rates are 2 inches per hour.

Northeast wind gusts of 40 to 60 miles per hour are expected, with the strongest in Eastern Mass. and R.I.

Forecasts have high confidence in 10 to 20 inches of heavy and wet snow across Eastern Mass. and R.I., with amounts in Western Mass. dependent on the extent of heavy snow, according to the NWS of Boston.
