BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Marijuana stores in Massachusetts saw a lot of green last month.
New data from the Cannabis Control Commission shows record adult-use sales at marijuana retailers during the month of June.
Recreational marijuana sales in the state reached $132.8 million, the highest amount of adult-use gross sales in Massachusetts since adult-use marijuana retail stores opened in Nov. 2018.
Medical marijuana sales reached $19 million during the month for a combined $151.8 million in gross sales.
The average retail cost of marijuana flower per gram also reached a new low in June at $5.82.
