Massachusetts Minimum Wage To Increase In 2022

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) – Minimum wage in Massachusetts will increase in 2022.

Right now, minimum wage in the state is $13.50 an hour but that will go up to $14.25 an hour come January 1, 2022.

This move is part of the state’s plan to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour come 2023.

In addition, the minimum wage for tipped employees will also increase from $5.55 an hour to $6.15 an hour.
