Massachusetts Reports 320 More Cases Of COVID-19

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has reported another 320 confirmed cases of COVID-19, upping the state's total number of confirmed cases to 111,853.

The DPH has also reported 8,438 probable cases in the Commonwealth reported so far.

With an additional 18 deaths reported among confirmed cases on Friday, the confirmed and probable COVID-19 death toll in Massachusetts has now surpassed 8,700.

More than two-thirds of those deaths were reported at long-term care facilities.

According to the Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 4.9 million COVID-19 cases confirmed in the nation, and more than 160,000 Americans have died from coronavirus since March.
