BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) – Massachusetts has reported the highest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in a single day since the start of the pandemic.
On Wednesday, the Department of Public Health (DPH) confirmed 7,817 news cases in the Commonwealth out of 106,568 new tests.

The state also reported that 1,621 Covid patients were in the hospital with 353 in the ICU. 33 more people have died from the virus and the seven-day average positivity rate was at 7.02%.
