BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The midday snowfall totals are in for the end-of-week storm currently lashing Massachusetts. National Weather Service Meteorologist Kristie Smith said not to expect more than a slushy inch in the Boston area, depending on how long the snow lasts after the sun sets.
Places further north and west have racked up significant totals so far. Northern Worcester County and the Merrimack Valley areas had the highest totals.

- Ashby 6.3 in
- Fitchburg 4.8 in
- Haverhill 4.0 in
- Lunenburg 6.1 in
- Ashburnham 6.1 in
- Pepperell 4.8 in
- Dracut 3.3 in
- Methuen: 4.5 in
- North Andover 3.0 in
- Tewksbury 3.3 in
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Western Mass through Western Middlesex County. The National Weather Service expects to have more totals by Friday evening.
