Massachusetts Tops 104,000 Cases Of Coronavirus

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has reported an additional 267 cases of coronavirus, putting the state's total case count above 104,000.

With another 46 COVID-related deaths reported, the state's death toll now stands at 7,454.

Nearly 63 percent of those deaths have been reported in the state's long-term care facilities.

According to the state DPH, more than 721,000 Massachusetts residents have now been tested for the virus, either through COVID-19 tests or antibody tests.

Out of more than 10,000 tests conducted over the last day, three percent of tests came back positive for the virus.
