As votes were being counted in some key battleground states, demonstrations have been popping up in cities across the U.S. While many protestors are calling for all votes to be counted, others are calling for the election results to be finalized already.

Cisco from Framingham said he has a solution to the lengthy wait.

"They should just not count them, man! Trump 2020!" he said. "I'm just saying, it's just another thing to hold up the whole election again."

However, if the vote counting were to stop now, based on current projections, Joe Biden would win Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona; more than enough electoral votes to take the White House.

Red from Framingham said that would be a welcome result.

"Trump has been what he's been for four years," he said, "and I think it's time for a change."

Red also said he had no problem with how long it's taking to finish the vote count, because he'd rather have it done right the first time.

Although recounts are expected in states with the narrowest margins, it won't happen in Massachusetts, where Biden won with 65 percent of the votes.
