BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation released a video of the car crash in the O'Neill Tunnel on I-93 that caused traffic delays on Thursday morning.

MassDOT said that the crash, which involved multiple cars, happened just after 7 a.m.

The video shows a pickup truck hitting the car in front of it in the far left lane of traffic and slowing down after the collision. The car behind the truck then ran into it.

Another car behind them pulled over to avoid the collision, and that car was then hit by an SUV coming up behind it. The SUV also hit the car that ran into the pickup truck

The scene was cleared by 8 a.m.

Even once all lanes were open again, there were still traffic delays on I-93 Thursday morning.
