BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — With stimulus payments now going out to millions of Americans, experts are warning of scams.
Deirdre Cummings from MASSPIRG says that scammers are “using the stimulus” to take advantage of people while they are concerned about the impacts of coronavirus.
“The biggest problems that we’re seeing, of course, are criminals trying to get personal information” from people to steal their identities.
