BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police said they're conducting a "death investigation" in Mattapan at the intersection of Hiawatha and Fottler Roads.
They said a woman was found in the street suffering from head trauma, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It wasn't yet clear whether or not the woman, who has not been identified, was struck by a vehicle.
Police are asking for any potential witnesses to come forward with information.
