BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Seven adults and ten children have been displaced by a fire on Deering Road in Mattapan after a fire broke out Sunday morning.

The Boston Fire Department said they worked to contain a fire on a two and a half story building that burned through the back porches and roof.

Fire officials say that two adults and two children were brought to local hospitals by Boston Emergency Medical Services. Firefighters remained on scene after extinguishing the flames to watch for hot spots, the BFD said.
