Maynard Woman Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Maine

LYMAN, Maine (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Maynard woman is dead after a motorcycle crash in southern Maine yesterday morning.

Police said 50-year-old Anne Stout was the passenger on the back of a motorcycle being driven by a Maine, man, Gerald Gibson, when the crash happened.

The motorcycle was heading north in Lyman, Maine at around 11:30 AM when the crash happened. Police said it left the road, smashed into a ditch, and Stout was thrown from the motorcycle.

Gibson was taken to Maine Medical Center, but wasn't badly injured.

Police say neither Gibson not Stout was wearing a helmet. They are still investigating the cause of the crash.
