BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — East Boston, Lynn, and Winthrop ferry service is coming back this April.
On Monday, the MBTA announced that East Boston ferry service will start back up on April 1. Service from Lynn and Winthrop will resume on April 29.
The East Boston ferry will be operating between Lewis Mall Wharf and the downtown Boston area at Long Wharf on weekends and weekdays until November 30. A one-way ticket costs $2.40. Reduced Fare riders pay $1.10.
The Lynn ferry will be offering new weekend service from May 25 to October 31 between the Blossom Street Pier and Long Wharf in downtown Boston, the MBTA said. A one-way ticket costs $7, but is $3.50 for Reduced Fare riders.
The T is cutting the price down to $2.40 in July and August to support Mass DOT's Sumner Tunnel project.

The Winthrop ferry will run from the end of April to November 30 between Winthrop Landing, Quincy, and Central Wharf in downtown Boston. A one-way ticket is $6.50, or $3.25 for Reduced Fare riders. Similar to the Lynn ferry, during July and August the fare will be reduced to $2.40.
Riders can buy tickets on the mTicket app or with cash. If printed, LinkPasses, Commuter Rail Zone passes, and M7s are also accepted.
