Five Hurt After MBTA Bus Hit By Box Truck

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Five people were hurt when a box truck slammed into the back of an MBTA bus Tuesday morning.

The bus was struck around 7:30 a.m. on Dartmouth Street near Columbus Avenue and Back Bay Station, causing severe delays in the middle of the morning commute.

The driver of the truck was sent to the hospital, along with four people aboard the bus, who reported minor injuries.

There was no word yet on the cause of the crash, or whether anyone was facing charges as a result.
