BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — After a weekend closure, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority announced on Tuesday that services on the Orange Line have mostly resumed.
The MBTA said on Twitter that Orange Line service is back, but that trains will have reduced speed in some areas and completely bypass Haymarket Station.
Officials said that Green Line service will remain suspended between the Government Center & North Station while inspections and surface-level work at Haymarket continues. The closures came as a precaution after a partial collapse of the Government Center parking garage killed one worker over the weekend.
Bus Routes 92, 93, 111, 426, and 450 have returned to their regular routes, officials said.
An hour before the MBTA's announcement, officials posted a video of a drone traveling down the Orange and Green Line tunnels, inspecting before sending in engineers.
