BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police are asking for the public's help identifying three people they say vandalized a historic trolley in Boston.

The MBTA Transit Police shared photos of the suspects on social media.

Authorities did not provide details of the damage done by the vandals.

Boylston station trolleys have been vandalized before.

Two old MBTA trolleys were vandalized with large spray-painted words back in 2014.

Both of the tags have been seen at other Boston locations including on the sides of buildings.

Anyone with information on the identities of these three people is asked to call MBTA Transit Police.
