Medfield Schools Use Purifly To Disinfect Ahead Of Fall Semester

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Schools in Medfield are using a powerful disinfecting system that goes beyond a mop and bucket, as they prepare for the upcoming fall semester.

Brittany Hampton owns Purifly Disinfectant Services. Through the system, custodians will just need to strap on a backpack and spray.

"This is top of the line technology," Hampton said. "This is an electro-static sprayer, mixed with the right, safe chemical."

Medfield schools are also considering spraying their Astroturf fields so athletes can stay protected during practices and games.
