FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A hospital in Framingham, Mass. has joined a growing list of healthcare facilities to bring back mask requirements.
The MetroWest Medical Center is the latest medical facility to implement a mandatory face mask policy for visitors and staff. According to MetroWest Daily News, patients are strongly encouraged to wear masks, but not required.
Their decision comes as the state reports an uptick in respiratory illness cases, including COVID-19, the flu and RSV.
