BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — You don't have to leave the city to see a good size farm.
There is one being developed in Hyde Park right now.
Excavators are on hand and men are working hard to clear a 35,000 square-foot site off Norton Street in Hyde Park.
This will be home to an urban farm called "We Grow Microgreens" It is the dream of a couple former Boston School teachers Tim Smith and Lisa Evans.
They have been growing micro greens at their home in Roslindale for several years and have been selling them to a couple local grocers, but they recently received the deed to this property.
With the help of Grants from the city and the state are in the process of developing this Urban Farm. They look to be in business by July.
