BOURNE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Darkness falls across Cape Cod, as a "Thriller" themed flash dance mob takes the Buzzards Bay Park by storm.
Lauren DeGregorio of Oplaysis Designs hosted and invited Studio 721 to be a part of the flash dance, something she says she hopes becomes an annual event for the Buzzards Bay area.
Owner of Studio 721 Julia Sykes told WBZ's Suzanne Sausville she thinks that Michael Jackson himself would approve of her group's performance.
"It's original choreography straight from the video, so it's very authentic. There's a bit of intricate counts but I told people that when in doubt, if you forget the moves, just pretend you're a zombie and you'll be right on theme," Sykes said.

Sykes helped teach her students how to dance and re-create the famous "Thriller" music video, along with students from the Center Stage Dance Academy, which has locations across the Commonwealth, including Sagamore Beach.
Sykes posted a tutorial video for others to follow along and learn for the day of the flash mob.
After the flash dance on Saturday, participants were invited to some Halloween trick-or-treating along Main Street businesses.
