MILFORD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Memorial Elementary School student suffered minor injuries after a car struck the school building Thursday morning.
Milford Public Schools Superintendent Kevin McIntyre told WBZ NewsRadio in an email the student was brought to an area hospital "out of an abundance of caution."
"I want to thank the Milford Fire Department and Milford Police Department for their quick response and effective management of the scene," McIntyre wrote.
There was minor damage to the building, but the Milford Building Inspector and Public School Facilities Director inspected the site, and did not find any structural damage.
