According to the NHDHR, Perry was a Manchester native who spent most of her life in Milford and as a charter member of the Ninety-Nines, a pioneering group of women pilots led by Amelia Earhart. After becoming the first regional female pilot in 1929, Perry became known for her aerial photography where she would help site map for the development of airports in N.H.

Perry's dedication was the 268th marker in N.H's Historical Highway Marker Program.
