Millis Family Offering $5K Reward For Info After Puppy Struck, Killed

MILLIS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Millis are asking for the public's help in finding the driver who hit and killed a family dog on Christmas Day.

Police said the dog was in a driveway the home of a Millis family who have been welcoming the public to their Causeway Street property for years for a "Millis Wonderland" holiday lights display.

Authorities said a vehicle entered the driveway and ran over the dog, named Jules, before speeding away.

The department released the above video on their Facebook page showing the unknown driver's car.

The family is now coping after their Christmas Day tragedy, and is offering a cash reward of $5,000 for information leading to them finding out the identity of the driver.
