MILTON, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 32-year-old man was accidentally shot in the head after a bullet ricocheted off of a chipmunk.
The man was shooting chipmunks in Milton with his 8-year-old nephew, police said.
The bullet fired by the 8-year-old killed the chipmunk and then hit the man in the head.

He was injured Friday and is expected to recover.
Milton Police Chief Richard Krauss called it a "truly just a freak accident."
