MILTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Friday, Milton Public Schools issued a letter to the community that one bullet had been found at Pierce Middle School during the school day, which resulted in a lockdown where police swept through school grounds and found an additional two bullets.
The live 9mm ammunition was found in the sink of the second floor bathroom, after which more bullets were found in two separate bathrooms, prolonging the school's lockdown. Ballistic K-9 units were on scene, accompanied by the Milton, Quincy, and Boston Police Departments.
