Missing Lowell Woman's Body Found In New Hampshire Lake

OSSIPEE, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — New Hampshire State Police say officials have found the body of a missing Lowell woman in Ossipee Lake.

The department said the body of 41-year-old Sinead Lyons was located by the state's Fish and Game department on Friday at around 2 p.m. during a coordinated search. Her identity was later confirmed by the Office of the New Hampshire Medical Examiner.

Lyons was first reported missing by Massachusetts State Police on March 14, 2021 -- after she was last seen walking a German Shepherd dog a few days before.

Before her body was recovered, Lyons' car was found on March 15 in a parking lot near the lake.
