Missing Lowell Woman's Vehicle Found In Merrimack River

LOWELL, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police recovered an SUV from the Merrimack River Friday afternoon that belongs to a Lowell woman who was reported missing several days ago.

Authorities said Kim Kelly-Oberhauser was last seen at around 10:45 p.m. Monday night operating the 2016 black Range Rover in Lowell.

Lowell Police Captain Marc LeBlanc said Kelly-Oberhauser's vehicle was found Friday by the Massachusetts State Air Wing in the river across from the Regatta Field.

The SUV was recovered from the water with assistance from the Lowell Fire Department, and confirmed to be the vehicle that investigators were looking for.

Police said the search for Kelly-Oberhauser is ongoing, and anyone with information about her whereabouts are encouraged to call Lowell Police Department at (978) 937-3200.
