BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It's a positive sign that all 45 patients Moderna tested with their vaccines have come back with antibodies.
This means an effective vaccine that can be mass produced has come closer to materializing.
More than half of the patients had side effects that were not considered serious, including chills, fatigue, head and body aches.
At the end of the month, Moderna is going to test the vaccine on 30 thousand adults.
The 45 patients who developed antibodies will be tested again in a year to see if they are still immune to the virus or if the antibodies were temporary.
