FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The MBTA has good news for Taylor Swift fans who still need a ride to two of her three concerts at Gillette Stadium this month.
The transportation authority announced Tuesday that the Commuter Rail and Keolis will release additional tickets for the round-trip, special event train service to Swift's Foxborough concerts on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21.
The $20 round-trip tickets will be sold exclusively on the mTicket app starting Friday, May 12, at 11 a.m.
Commuter Rail tickets for all three concerts quickly sold out when they first went on sale last week. At the time, a spokesperson for Keolis told WBZ NewsRadio that the MBTA and Keolis were assessing if it was possible to release additional tickets.
Trains for the Saturday and Sunday shows will depart from South Station in Boston and Providence Station in Providence, Rhode Island. Tickets for each train will be sold separately and need to be purchased for the correct date and station of origin.
