MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The MSPCA accepted 14 roosters and 16 hens in Middleborough after they were surrendered by their previous owner.
The birds were living in tiny, dirty pet carriers without access to fresh water or food. They were suffering in the hot weather, as well.
However, the chickens are doing well now that they have been rescued by Nevins Farm. Those interested in adopting may contact the farm.
