BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The MSPCA has two new tiny members: Oreo and Misha, a pair of Yorkie siblings.
Both of the puppies are just about a year old, but according to the MSPCA, they have "significant medical needs" that their original family struggled to keep up with. The dogs are very small, weighing in at just 3.3 and 2.5 pounds.
The organization says their care is going to be costly—around $4,000—so they are currently asking for donations.
As the dogs are being prepared for adoption, the MSPCA is now accepting visits and adoption inquiry forms for Oreo and Misha, whom they suggest be adopted separately.
"They are siblings and actually bicker quite a bit so we think they’ll be happiest in separate homes," the organization wrote in an Instagram comment.
