Multiple People Dead After Separate Crashes In Everett, Bourne and Woburn

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Multiple people are dead after separate crashes across the state on Sunday night into early Monday morning.

Bourne

Police said a woman was killed after a two-vehicle crash with a tractor-trailer on Sunday evening.

Officers responded to the scene on Sandwich Road at around 4:30 p.m. -- where traffic was closed between the Bourne and Sagamore Bridge for several hours.

"An initial investigation has found that a 2019 Nissan Sentra traveling westbound crossed over the centerline and collided with a tractor trailer unit that was travelling eastbound," Bourne Police said in a statement.

The female operator of the Nissan was killed and the operator of the tractor trailer did not suffer any injuries.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.

Woburn

One person is dead and another is injured after a two-vehicle crash in Woburn on Sunday night.

Woburn Police say the crash happened on I-95 at around 8:45 p.m., when one car veered to the right and struck a guardrail in the breakdown lane and then was pushed back across the travel lanes, hitting another car.

The driver of the first car, a 37-year-old Needham man, was taken to a local hospital -- where he was pronounced dead.

The other driver, a 73-year-old Boxford man, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Two juvenile passengers were also taken in for evaluations.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.

Everett

A driver has died after an SUV crashed into the porch of a home in Everett overnight.

The Middlesex District Attorney's Office said the crash happened at around 12:25 a.m. on Monday near Broadway Street.

The driver, a woman, was pronounced dead on scene. The other male passenger was taken to a local hospital -- where he is currently in stable condition.

No one in the home was injured, and the cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
