NASHUA, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Nashua Police are investigating after a motorcycle driver was killed in a nighttime collision near a middle school.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Nashua authorities responded to a call about a crash at the intersection of Lake Street and Chestnut Street, next to Elm Street Middle School.
Officers found the driver of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old male, with severe injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time later at the scene of the incident.
The two people inside the vehicle involved in the crash were not injured, and NPD said both are cooperating with the investigation.
At this time, NPD said it does not appear that drugs or alcohol contributed to the collision.
