NATICK, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A new pickleball facility opened up in the Natick Mall and there are more than just courts inside.

The 100,000 square foot Bosse pickleball space not only contains 21 courts, but also a sports theater to watch games of your choice, golf simulators, a darts lounge, and even a fitness center.

The facility also contains some food spots, including a pizza restaurant, a sports bar, and a café.

“This is the largest indoor pickleball facility in the country,” CEO DJ Bosse said.

He mentioned that the many extra attractions found alongside the pickleball courts were meant to create a social space that paired experiences that mesh together nicely.

“It’s very social, and social people want to dine and want to drink,” Bosse said.

The space opened on November 26th, and co-founder Chris Coombs was blown away by the amount of interest in such a short time.

“Thus far, we’ve exceeded our expectations on membership by this time by double,” Coombs said.

Bosse also said he predicts that the demand for this kind of facility and pickleball as a whole will lead to expanding the space even further.

“21 courts, ultimately, is not enough,” Bosse said.
