Neil Diamond Reworks 'Sweet Caroline' Into Coronavirus PSA

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Neil Diamond has revamped "Sweet Caroline" as a public service announcement about social distancing in the age of coronavirus.

"I know we're going through a rough time right now, but I love you," the singer said in a video Sunday. "I think maybe if we sing together, well, we'll just feel a little bit better."

Diamond plays an acoustic version of the Fenway Park staple alongside his dog, while singing lyrics like "Hands, washing hands / Reaching out / Don't touch me, I won't touch you!"
