LEWISTON, Maine (WBZ NewsRadio) — Maine State Police are offering testimony this week in connection with the worst mass shooting to happen in the state’s history last October. This is the first time the police have spoken in front of the committee who is investigating the shooting. The investigation found notes from Card, and Maine State Police confirmed that there was one note left for family members saying goodbye, and another which predicted the violence that would take place last October which left 18 people dead, and 13 others wounded at a bar and bowling alley. Additionally, Card had left a note on his phone for authorities to read indicating that he "had enough" and was trained to kill people. The committee investigating the shooting will continue to hear testimony and were recently given the power to subpoena by the Maine State Legislature.
