BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Federal funding has been allocated to seven New England airports this year as part of a one billion dollar round of spending to "meet the growing demand for air travel" around the United States and territories, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The 40,434,800 dollars came courtesy of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, under which airports across the nation will receive one billion dollars annually until 2026.
