BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — If you miss seeing ocean wildlife up close, New England Aquarium has a few new shows now streaming live for aquatic animal lovers during lockdown.
On Friday, the aquarium launched two new livestream webcams that allow people to tune in on their devices at home and watch their favorite animals 24 hours a day.
"These animals and the care they need continues," aquarium President Vikki Spruill told WBZ NewsRadio. "People seem really interested in that."
One live webcam now looks over the Giant Ocean Tank, which holds around 1,000 Caribbean ocean reef animals like sea turtles sting rays, sharks eels, fish.
The second webcam allows people to tune in to some of the most popular animals at the New England Aquarium; the African penguin colony.
