BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Thursday night, teams across the National Football League released their season schedule for 2022, with some doing so in a unique fashion on social media.
The New England Patriots took a possible dry humor approach, revealing their schedule by putting former coach Ernie Adams in front of a whiteboard to give a one-liner on each opponent.
Other teams took a more creative approach, like the Carolina Panthers who uploaded a 90's themed schedule release video featuring Tamagotchis, tube TV's, and Push Pop's, all to the tune of This Is How We Do It by Montell Jordan.
The Houston Texans showed off their 2022 schedule in a more niche and nostalgic way, mimicking Disney Channel Original introductions by having players and fans try to draw team logos on the screen with magic wands.
But for the Detroit Lions, their schedule release promo was also focused on urban survival training, where they tactically demonstrated how they would triumph over their seventeen NFL combatants.
Meanwhile the Los Angeles Chargers embraced eastern culture, highlighting their 2022 schedule with a two-minute anime rendition, paying tribute to shows like One Piece, Attack on Titan, and Demon Slayer. The animation showed the Chargers taking on their opponents, accompanied with some sprinkled-in insults on each franchise.
