REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Our first truly warm weather since last year is arriving with forecasters calling for temperatures in the 80s, even 90-plus degrees possible in some areas on Wednesday.
This three-day stretch of warmth (Tuesday-Thursday) has people already headed to the beach.
Lindo was enjoying the early morning sun on Revere Beach Tuesday.
He said as soon as he heard the forecast, he knew where he wanted to be. "The weather motivated me to get out and enjoy it," he said. He added that this nice stretch is hopefully a sign of good things to come.
Another early-bird beachgoer agreed with Lindo. "This is the time of year people want to be outdoors, and I want to be here."
There is a chance for some showers late Thursday.
But forecasters said once that cold front passes through, the weather is looking good for Memorial Day weekend.
