BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — In an exclusive report, FOX Sports has released footage of the New England Patriots’ videographer filming the Cincinnati Bengals’ sideline.
The video shows the confrontation between the Patriots videographer and security for the Bengals.
“I don’t see the advanced scout in this footage,” security for the Bengals said in the video.
“No, that’s not. We were trying to get some field perspective. That’s my bad,” the Patriots videographer responded.
“That’s not the field,” the security guard said. “I don’t know why you think you could take that.”
The videographer goes on to say he can delete the footage, and that he “didn’t know.”
The NFL is investigating the incident. The Patriots could be fined and could potentially lose a draft pick as punishment.
In 2007, the Patriots were fined for breaking NFL rules by filming their opponent’s coaching signals. That case is now referred to as ‘Spygate.’
