DERRY, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A music hall in New Hampshire has figured out a way to allow socially-distanced live music concerts to continue this Spring, despite the coronavirus pandemic.
After obtaining a permit from the town of Derry, Tupelo Music Hall announced it will be holding drive-in live musical performances with local acts in their parking lot.
The music venue's lot fits up to 75 cars, which will allow fans to sit in their vehicles and enjoy the outdoor concerts at a safe distance for at least the next few weekends.
According to the music hall's website, guitarist Tim Theriault will play two shows on Saturday, May 16th; one at noon and one at 3 p.m., and musical artist Kasim Sulton will be performing at the same times on Saturday, May 23rd.
