ROCHESTER, New Hampshire (WBZ NewsRadio)—On Friday morning, between 7:05 A.M. and 7:20 A.M., the Rochester Police Department received a report of an unknown male possibly trying to grab a middle school-aged female while she was walking to school.
The girl was not physically harmed and was able to run away and report the incident to school officials and the School Resource Officer.
Police said the girl was on Chestnut Street near the Rochester Fairgrounds. She was walking to school when an older man, possibly in his 60's, reportedly tried to grab a hold of her waist while near some bushes by a fence line.

He is described as an older male, with wrinkly skin and scabs on his arms. In addition, he was wearing a traditional bandana style dark face covering and had a gray beard.
The incident is under investigation and police say they have not received any other reports similar to this one.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact police.
